"Private Eyes" was the second solo album by Tommy Bolin (Zephyr, The James Gang, Deep Purple). This album was released six months before Bolin died. He was on tour supporting the album opening for Jeff Beck. In his final show in Miami, December 3, 1976, Bolin played a blazing version of "Post Toastee" for his encore number. He posed with Beck for a photo afterwards. A short while later Bolin died in his hotel room.
