The Amazing Race Australia is an Australian reality television game show based on the American reality television series, The Amazing Race that is broadcast on the Seven Network Australia. The series features eleven teams of two who are in a pre-existing personal relationship, and follow the various challenges that they undertake as they race around the world to win A$250,000.

This race is run over 12 legs, 8 of which are pre-defined elimination legs. The race will take the teams across 4 continents, 12 countries, and 23 cities covering a total of 50,000 kilometers (31,069 miles). The cast of this race includes Tyler & Nathan (Surfers), Matt & Tom (Farmers), Anastasia & Chris (Dating), Jeff & Luke (Father / Son), Sam & Renae (Models), Kelly & Dave (Married Bikers), Mo & Mos (Friends), Anne-Marie & Tracy (Workmates), Richard & Joey (Married Entrepreneurs), Alana & Mel (Reunited Sisters), Ryot & Liberty (Brother / Sister), and of course Grant Bowler, the show's host.
